Last week in the second trimester!

Holy cow, we are almost in the third trimester! I can't believe how fast the time is flying. Steve and I started our registry last weekend at Babies R' Us and are starting to seriously start working on the nursery. OB appointments are now every two weeks! When did all this happen?!

Anyway! My first pictures in the second trimester (14 weeks):

25 weeks!

Here are the 25 week pictures! My belly button is getting pretty shallow these days.

As usual, Wyatt had to come over to investigate the situation that he felt he should be involved in.

Then I found a piece of kibble on the floor and it was Wyatt's lucky day!

So I am now 24 weeks along. I can't believe how fast the weeks are flying by!

Bean's First Movie (and a nursery update!)

So I've been trying to catch Bean kicking me on video and I finally got it! Check out the video below of my tummy. The kick is on the left side at 3-4 seconds in. Its subtle from the outside (but not so subtle feeling it from the inside!). Notice the brindle pattern in the background sleeping as this is all happening. Again, Wyatt is not too impressed.

The nursery is finally all cleaned out of our various junk and now we can start thinking about paint colours. We have been inspired by the walls of a store near our house called Ella and Elliot, which is a baby store.

We are hopefully going to attempt to paint these horizontal stripes on an accent wall using a similar green, brown, blue and hopefully a light yellow:

The blue stripes on the accent wall and other three walls with be this colour of blue:

23 Week Pictures

So we had an OB appointment today. Everything looks good and Bean's HR was 144bpm. One more month of monthly appointments and then they move to every 2 weeks! Crazy to think that we're getting closer and closer to having the baby.
