A busy week for the Fryer family!

Holy moly, this has been a busy week. We had our second chance at the 3D ultrasound, had our first prenatal class, bought a crib and new knobs for our dresser, had another OB appointment, and had Hailey up for the weekend to go rock climbing. I slept for 12 (!!) hours last night. I guess I needed that.

Anyway! Here are the best pics that we could get of Bean at our 2nd 3D ultrasound. He/she can be quite stubborn and kept burying their face to my back where we couldn't see. Here are the best pics!

The baby is quite chubby already! The tech also had that the baby has quite a bit of hair too. :) I can't wait to meet him/her and kiss those beautiful chubby cheeks!

Here is a picture of our crib and door knobs that we will add to our dresser when it is repainted.
We bought two of each knob, for the six pulls on the dresser.

And last but not least, I have a guest star in this weeks tummy pictures. Hailey decided she wanted to join me for this photo shoot. Her tummy is significantly smaller than mine! Enjoy! The OB predicted that we are going to have a big baby, and am measuring about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This scares me a bit, because the baby has to come out somehow. We'll have to see what happens. To be continued in the coming months. :)

What a week!

29 weeks + Nursery Update

So Bean was being very stubborn at our 3D ultrasound and refused to show us his/her face. Bean's face was to my back and no amount of prodding would get him/her to turn around. We tried everything to wake him/her up (squats, sugary candy, belly shaking!) to no avail. We're going back on Tuesday to try again. Hopefully Bean is more co-operative that day because we want to meet you and see your beautiful face! Tuesday is also the first day of our pre-natal classes at Mount Sinai. Crazy!

Steve has been hard at work on the nursery this week. It is now all painted and awaiting the artistic stripes that Steve has dreamt up.

We also bought an antique dresser that will double as a change table from an antique store for a bargain price! Woo hoo! I love a good deal. We're going to give it a fresh coat of paint and new knobs.
And here are my 29 week pics!
As usual, Wyatt wanted part of the action so he creeped in for some puppy kisses!

11 weeks to go!

7 months!

(Thanks for the awesome shirt, Lis!)

Crazy to think that I am already 7 months pregnant! Only 12 weeks to go! Things are going well. Another OB appointment on Friday then we are off to the cottage with Steve's family for some much needed R and R. Getting harder and harder to transfer those patients as now my belly is starting to get into the way. I also run into objects all the time, thinking I can squeeze past them and I can't (this includes photocopiers, the wall, the dog, pretty much everything).

Anyway! Here are the 28 week pics. Onward and upward! Only going to get bigger from here. How, I don't know because I already feel huge everywhere, but I digress.

And of course, Wyatt.
Next week we should have our 3D ultrasound pics! So stay tuned.

Third Trimester, here I come!

I can't believe its the third trimester already. Steve has been working hard painting the trim this weekend and then we're on to painting the nursery. The registry is pretty much done thanks to my mom and sister and their baby advice! (Who knew there were so many options for EVERYTHING?) OB appointments are every two weeks (crazy!) and I have my glucose tolerance test on Friday. We have also booked a 3D ultrasound for August 18, so be prepared for some alien looking 3D ultrasound pics in the future!

Here are my 27 week pictures. I feel huge and my back is aching almost all the time. Bah. Only 13 weeks to go!

This shirt is really not covering my belly anymore.

Uncovered, side profile.

Hewwooahh!
That's all for now. :)
